Concentric cable is used for wiring low voltage systems and are low voltage cable consisting of multiple layers of conductors. Concentric neutral cable are structured from the inside out as inner conductor, insulation, neutral conductor, insulation, semi-conductive layer, metal shield and outer sheath. The special structure of concentric electrical cable improves the current carrying capacity of the cable and reduces electromagnetic interference. Concentric cables are commonly used for the distribution and transmission of electricity for urban networks, overhead lines and renewable energy sources.
