4 AWG battery cable can be used in a variety of applications such as automotive, marine, and solar battery. 4 ga battery cable is made of stranded copper wire encased in durable polyvinyl chloride. It can carry up to 100 amps of current (depending on length and conditions) while resisting abrasion. In addition, 4 awg marine battery cable has a conductor made of tinned copper. Available in black or red and customizable by the foot, this cable is perfect for short runs—like a car battery hookup—or longer installations, such as RV power systems.
