XLPO Solar Cable is a specialized low-voltage photovoltaic cable engineered with tinned copper conductors and dual-layer radiation-cross-linked polyolefin (XLPO) insulation/jacket. The tinned copper provides superior corrosion resistance against seawater, chemicals, and soil, while the halogen-free XLPO matrix delivers exceptional UV stability—withstanding 25+ years of direct exposure without degradation, cracking, or loss of flexibility. Designed to endure extreme temperatures (-40°C to +120°C) and mechanical stress, it outperforms traditional PVC and standard XLPE cables in environmental resilience and longevity. Certified for exposed installations, it’s ideal for rooftop PV systems, ground-mounted solar farms, and floating photovoltaic plants where reliable power transmission is critical. Commonly available types include H1Z2Z2-K and PV1-F Solar Cable.
