UNE HD 620 Medium Voltage RHZ1 Cable

RHZ1 medium voltage cables are designed for fixed laying scenarios with voltage levels from 6kV to 36kV. It has an aluminum conductor with copper shielding and is suitable for power transmission in industrial plants, underground tunnels, substations and renewable energy projects. The product complies with UNE-HD 620 national standard, IEC 60332-1; IEC 60502-2 international standards and ST7 fire resistance rating to ensure stable operation under high temperature, humidity and mechanical stress. The “RHZ1” in its name identifies its core features:
R: XLPE (Cross-linked Polyethylene) Insulation
H: Semi conducting screen and metallic screen added.
Z1: Polyolefin compound

Product Features

• Aluminum conductor reduces line loss, and combined with the low dielectric constant of XLPE insulation, the overall energy efficiency is more than 15% higher than traditional PVC cables.
• Multi-layer shielding and flame-retardant jacket design ensures maximum suppression of smoke and toxic gas release in case of emergency such as fire or short circuit.
• The oil and acid resistance of the PO sheath makes it suitable for petrochemical plants, tunnels and other corrosive environments, and the UV resistance guarantees a service life of more than 20 years for outdoor laying.
• The light weight of aluminum conductor and the flexibility of the sheath reduces the difficulty of laying, and supports multiple installation methods such as direct burial, pipe penetration or bridge.
