NFC 33-226 Cable is a medium voltage cable for public power distribution, rated at 12/20 kV or 18/30 kV, compliant with French standard NF C 33-226. NFC 33-226 power cable is available in a single core configuration, or in triple stranded configuration. The XLPE insulation layer provides excellent electrical performance and thermal stability, and the outer sheath is made of polyethylene (PE) to resist environmental stress. This cable is suitable for direct burial, duct installations, or aerial setups, delivering consistent power transmission in demanding conditions.

Product features

  • Waterproofing (AD8): Combines an impermeable outer sheath with internal swelling powder to withstand high water pressure, enabling deployment in saturated soils, ducts, and high-water-table zones.
  • Impact Resistance: Delivers AG4.7-rated mechanical durability to resist physical damage in industrial or high-traffic environments.
  • Weather and UV Resistance: For aerial or outdoor installations, the cable sheath is designed for excellent weather resistance, rated AN3/AF2.
  • Flame retardant: Complies with NF C 32-070 standard C2.2 category flame retardant requirements to ensure fire safety.

Cable Construction

  1. Conductor: Compacted, circular and stranded aluminum wire, class 2 .(Copper conductor is also optional.)
  2. Semi-conductive Conductor Screen
  3. Insulation: XLPE(Cross-linked Polyethylene)
  4. Grooved peelable semi-conducting coating
  5. Longitude Aluminium Plastic Tape
  6. Outer Sheath: PE Sheath, Black
