NA2XSEY cable is a three-core medium voltage cable. designed for underground laying in environments with high short-circuit current levels, such as urban and industrial areas, as well as through cable ducts, in the air or underground. It is designed with a structure that is resistant to high temperatures and chemical corrosion and UV protection features, with a rugged construction for installation in a variety of harsh environments. NA2XSEY cables are usually available in a variety of voltage levels, such as 3.6/6kV to accommodate different power system requirements.

NA2XSEY: A 3-core cable where three individually screened cores are bundled under a single sheath. Preferred for faster installation of 3-phase circuits. NA2XSY: A Single-core cable. You must install three separate NA2XSY cables to create a 3-phase circuit.
The primary standard is DIN VDE 0276-620 (Distribution cables of nominal voltages 3.6/6 kV to 20.8/36 kV). They are also frequently manufactured to comply with IEC 60502-2.
Standard NA2XSEY cables typically meet IEC 60332-1-2 (Resistance to vertical flame propagation for a single insulated wire or cable). They are self-extinguishing if the fire source is removed, but they are not designed to withstand large-scale bunched cable fires (IEC 60332-3) unless specifically requested.
