NA2XS2Y 1×150 is a medium voltage cable designed for heavy-duty transmission applications requiring ruggedness, reliability and high current capacity. The single core cable features aluminum conductors and cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation, reinforced by a copper wire shield for added electromagnetic protection. All this is encased in a durable polyethylene (PE) outer jacket. In terms of performance 12/20kv NA2XS2Y MV cable is highly resistant to chemical corrosion, thermal aging and environmental stress. It is typically used in indoor and outdoor applications, including underground, underwater, and on cable trays in industrial and distribution networks. In addition the 150mm² single core aluminum conductor secures efficient power transmission and is lighter in weight than copper alternatives.
