EVAVB cable is a medium voltage, armoured power cable with a nominal voltage rating of 3.6/6kv~26/35kv. Its construction features stranded copper conductors individually insulated with a durable Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) compound, which are then protected by an inner sheath, a dual layer of steel tape armor, and a final flame-retardant PVC outer sheath. This cable is applied in industrial plants and power networks for fixed installations and is suitable for underground laying, as well as in cable ducts, conduits, and trenches where robust protection is required. The EVAVB-F2 type featuring flame-retardant properties. The outer sheath of the EVAVB-F2 cable is made from a specialized flame-retardant PVC material that meets the stringent requirements of NBN C 30-004 F2 class, enabling it to resist vertical flame spread.

The armor. EXVB is unarmored and requires a conduit for underground use. EVAVB features Steel Tape Armor (STA). This provides mechanical protection against crushing and digging tools, allowing for direct burial in the ground without extra pipes.
No. EVAVB uses Steel Tape Armor, which has low tensile strength and can unravel under its own weight in long vertical runs. For vertical applications or high pulling tension, you should use a Steel Wire Armored (SWA) cable instead.
Yes. This is its primary application. The double steel tape armor protects the XLPE insulation and conductors from soil pressure, rocks, and accidental impact. However, it is recommended to lay warning tape above the cable during installation.
