VV cable, the full name of the copper (aluminum) core polyvinyl chloride insulation polyvinyl chloride sheath power cable. The two letters “V” stand for polyvinyl chloride (PVC), which is used as the insulating and sheathing layer of the cable. The compact design of VV cables and their insulation and sheath provide the necessary electrical isolation. The physical space required for installation is therefore significantly reduced and no additional support structures are required. The feature is particularly suitable for space-constrained environments, such as indoors, in trenches and tunnels. In addition, it has a price advantage over YJV cables and YJV22 cables.
