- Product Details
NYRGbY is a robust, low-voltage armoured power and control cable designed for maximum mechanical protection in fixed installations. Its multi-layer construction features annealed copper conductors, PVC insulation, and a distinctive double armour system consisting of galvanized round steel wires with a galvanized steel tape binder, all protected by a durable PVC outer sheath. The armoured cable is engineered for power distribution and control circuits in industrial and infrastructure projects, and it is particularly well-suited for direct burial in the ground where there is a significant risk of mechanical stress.
- The double-layer armor layer has excellent anti-crushing, anti-impact, and anti-tension properties; The PVC outer sheath is moisture-proof and sun-resistant.
- Certified and Compliant: Manufactured in accordance with international and regional standards such as SNI IEC 60502-1 and VDE 0271
- The N2XRY cable is flame retardant according to IEC 60332-1-2, ensuring it will not propagate a flame in a fire situation.

FAQ
What is the main difference between NYRGBY and NYBY?
The armor type. NYBY uses Steel Tape, which offers crush resistance but low pulling strength. NYRGBY uses Round Steel Wires (SWA). This provides significantly higher tensile strength, making it essential for vertical runs, steep slopes, or areas requiring high pulling force.
Is NYRGBY cable suitable for direct burial?
Yes. The galvanized round steel wires provide excellent mechanical protection against soil pressure, rocks, and accidental impact from digging tools. It can be laid directly in the earth without the need for additional protective conduits or pipes.
What does the "Gb" or "G" stand for in the code
It refers to the Counter-Helix Tape. This is a thin steel tape wrapped in the opposite direction over the round wires. It holds the wires firmly in place, preventing them from "bird-caging" (spreading open) when the cable is bent during installation.
