NYBY Cable is a PVC insulated and sheathed low voltage cable. It is also reinforced with galvanized steel tape armor to provide mechanical protection against external forces as well as protection against crushing and rodent damage. It is suitable for transmission and distribution lines with rated voltages of 0.6/1 KV and below. NYBY low voltage cable is chemically stable, resistant to acids, alkalis, oils and organic solvents and offers significant advantages in terms of electrical insulation properties and cost effectiveness.

NYBY electrical cables meet the stringent requirements of factories, power stations and industrial environments to provide an uninterrupted supply of power to machines and equipment. NYBY cables are suitable for installation in buildings, cable ducts as well as for burial in the ground.

FAQ

No. NYBY uses Steel Tape Armor (DSTA), which is designed to withstand radial pressure (crushing). NYRY uses Steel Wire Armor (SWA), which provides high tensile strength. NYBY is for direct burial; NYRY is for vertical suspension or high-pulling-tension applications.
No. The "Y" indicates PVC insulation and sheath, which contain halogens. If a Halogen-Free, Low Smoke armored cable is required, the specification should be N2XBH or N2XCH.
Yes. This is its primary application. The double steel tape armor protects the cores from sharp rocks, digging tools, and rodent damage, allowing for direct burial without extra piping.
