NHXMH cables are VDE-certified, halogen-free power and installation cables engineered for enhanced safety in the event of a fire. Their construction features a solid or stranded bare copper conductor, cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) core insulation, and a robust, flame-retardant thermoplastic outer sheath, with a halogen-free filler compound used in multi-core versions. These cables are specifically designed for fixed wiring in buildings with a high concentration of people or valuable assets, suitable for installation in dry, damp, or wet environments, including on, in, or under plaster and within masonry or concrete. The primary distinction between the variants lies in the core configuration: the NHXMH-J type includes a green/yellow protective earth conductor, while the NHXMH-O type does not.

Its performance is verified against key international standards, ensuring it is highly flame-retardant to limit fire propagation (IEC 60332-3-24), halogen-free to prevent the release of toxic and corrosive gases (IEC 60754-1 / IEC 60754-2), and produces very low smoke density to maintain visibility for safe evacuation (IEC 61034-2).
  • VDE Certified and CPR Compliant: This cable is manufactured and tested in strict accordance with the German VDE 0250-214 standard, carrying the ◁VDE▷ mark as a guarantee of proven quality, safety, and reliability. Furthermore, it is fully compliant with the European Construction Products Regulation (CPR).

  • Test Voltage: 2000V AC
  • Permissible operating temperature of the conductor: +70°C
  • Max. temperature during short circuit (≤5S): 250°C
