N2XY-J / N2XY-O Low Voltage Cable

Manufactured and tested in strict accordance with the German standard VDE 0276-603 and the international standard IEC 60502-1, the N2XY series cable guarantees adherence to the highest levels of quality, safety, and performance. This cable is available in two primary variants to meet specific system design requirements: the N2XY-J (with a protective earth conductor) and the N2XY-O (without a protective earth conductor). N2XY-J/N2XY-O cables are low-voltage power cables designed for efficient electricity distribution in fixed installations across residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Featuring stranded copper conductors for high conductivity and XLPE insulation for superior electrical properties, they are encased in a robust PVC sheath that protects against moisture and mechanical stress.

• Enhanced Thermal Performance and Ampacity: XLPE is a thermosetting material. This cross-linking process forms a more stable molecular structure, preventing it from melting or deforming under thermal stress, thereby providing exceptional stability.
• Robust Mechanical and Environmental Protection: The inner XLPE insulation layer offers superior thermal stability and electrical performance; the PVC jacket provides excellent abrasion resistance, UV radiation resistance, and resistance to various chemicals (including oils, acids, and alkalis). Additionally, the combination of non-hygroscopic XLPE insulation and waterproof PVC jacket provides excellent moisture protection, reducing the risk of long-term degradation mechanisms such as water trees.
