- Product Details
N2XBY cable is a flexible and versatile low voltage cable. The product series is suitable for supply, transmission and distribution lines with a rated voltage of 0.6/1 KV (U0/U). N2XBY electrical cables are mechanically protected by a double layer of galvanized steel tape, which gives them rigidity and allows them to withstand high external pressures. The outer insulation of XLPE material is heat-resistant and it is resistant to abrasion when laying wires. N2XBY armored cables are widely used in industrial power applications, underground tunnels, and building infrastructures.
Product Features
- The power cables comply with GB/T12706.1-2008 standard and hold CE and CCC certificates.
- The cables are available in different sizes (4-300mm²) and core numbers (2-5) to meet different user needs and requirements.
- Both internal and external applications are supported. Including indoor, tunnel, downhole, cable trench or duct, underground.

FAQ
What is the difference between N2XBY and NYBY cable?
The key difference is the insulation material. N2XBY uses XLPE (90°C rating), allowing for higher current carrying capacity. NYBY uses PVC insulation (70°C rating). N2XBY is lighter and more thermally robust than NYBY.
What constitutes the armor in N2XBY cable?
It features Double Steel Tape Armor (DSTA), applied helically. This provides excellent protection against radial compression (crushing) and rodent damage but offers limited tensile strength compared to steel wire armor.
Is N2XBY cable Halogen-Free (LSZH)?
No. The outer sheath is made of PVC ("Y"), which releases halogen gases when burned.
