2XSLCH-J is a 0.6/1kV halogen-free EMC motor cable used on the output side of inverter and servo drive systems. The cable has Class 5 flexible copper conductors, XLPE insulation, aluminum/PET tape, tinned copper braid screening and a black LSZH outer sheath. The “J” type includes a green/yellow protective earth core.
In a drive installation, 2XSLCH-J carries motor power and helps control electrical noise around the cable route. XLPE insulation keeps capacitance lower than many PVC motor cables. The foil and braid screen provide EMC protection when the screen is terminated correctly at the drive cabinet and motor end.
This cable is normally selected for fixed installation or occasional movement. It should not be used as a continuous drag-chain cable. If the cable route is long, check the drive manufacturer’s maximum motor cable length and whether an output filter is required.

Installation notes: If nearby sensors, encoders or communication cables are affected by noise, check the screen termination first. The braid should make 360-degree contact through an EMC gland or shield clamp. A long pigtail earth connection weakens high-frequency shielding. For larger drives or longer feeders, compare the standard 4G version with the 3+3 symmetrical grounding version before ordering.
