H07Z1-K is a single-core, flexible, low smoke zero halogen (LSZH) electrical wire designed for fixed and protected installations. It consists of a class 5 flexible copper conductor and halogen-free thermoplastic insulation, ensuring enhanced fire safety by minimizing smoke and corrosive gas emissions in case of combustion. This building wire is typically installed in conduits, trunking, and fixed wiring systems inside residential, commercial, and public buildings where higher safety standards are required, such as hospitals, schools, airports, and data centers. Household wires also include other common types such as H07V-K/H07V-R/H07V-U.
- Fire Performance
Low-smoke zero-halogen (LSZH) construction minimizes smoke obscuration during fires (BS EN 61034-2) and eliminates toxic gas emissions (BS EN 60754-1/2). Self-extinguishing flame retardancy complies with BS EN 60332-1-2.
