- Product Details
The H07Z-U is a specialized low-voltage 450/750V single-core cable engineered for permanent, fixed installations. Distinguished by its solid conductor, it provides a rigid structure that—unlike stranded (H07Z-R) or flexible (H07Z-K) variants—is optimized for static routes where frequent bending is not required. Crucially, the cable features a flame-retardant, halogen-free (LSZH) outer sheath, which significantly reduces the generation of toxic gases and opaque smoke in the event of a fire. The enhanced safety profiles makes the H07Z-U the ideal solution for building wiring, industrial facilities, and fixed appliance connections where protecting human life and equipment is a priority.
- Manufactured in accordance with EN 50525-3-41
- Strong pressure resistance, bending resistance, not easy to break
- Acid-resistant and corrosion-resistant, high-temperature resistant, cold-resistant and freeze-resistant
- Enhanced safety in case of fire: low smoke (EN 61034-2), halogen-free (EN 60754-1, EN 60754-2), flame-retardant (EN 60332-1-2)

FAQ
What is the difference between H07Z-U and H07V-U?
The key difference is the insulation. H07V-U is PVC, while H07Z-U is LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen). You must use H07Z-U in public buildings (airports, hospitals) to ensure that, in the event of a fire, the cable does not emit toxic fumes or dense smoke.
What does the "U" stand for in H07Z-U?
The "U" indicates a Solid Copper Conductor (Class 1). Unlike flexible (-K) or stranded (-R) variants, H07Z-U is rigid. It is specifically designed for permanent, fixed wiring in switchboards, distribution panels, and conduits where high vibration or movement is not present.
How should H07Z-U be installed?
H07Z-U is a single-core, non-sheathed cable. It must be installed inside pipes, conduits, or closed trunking for mechanical protection. It is rated for 450/750V and is ideal for internal wiring of devices and lighting systems, but not for direct burial or outdoor exposure.
