2XS(FL)2Y Cable is a single core cable designed for high voltage power transmission. It is insulated with XLPE, which provides excellent electrical insulation and good mechanical strength. The optimized triple extrusion process provides electrical performance and transmission efficiency. In addition, the HDPE outer jacket assures that the cable is waterproof and environmentally resistant. Reliable operation is possible even in wet or underwater environments.
Application
- High- and medium-voltage power transmission: The 2XS(FL)2Y cable series is suitable for high-voltage networks up to 110 kV and medium-voltage networks of lower voltage classes. It allows the safe transmission of power from the power station to the distribution network, including the connection of transformers.
- Multi-environment installations: Designed for use in a wide range of installation environments, including underground burial, underwater, outdoor direct burial, indoor cabling, and in cable ducts.
- Industrial & Infrastructure: Meeting the power needs of plant operations and control systems in industrial facilities, power stations and distribution networks.

Can 2XS(FL)2Y cable be buried directly in the ground?
Yes. The rugged HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) sheath and the water-blocking structure make it ideal for direct burial in soil, even in areas with high water tables or aggressive soil chemistry.
Is this cable suitable for underwater installation?
Yes. Thanks to the radial Aluminum-laminate barrier (FL) and PE sheath, it is longitudinally and radially watertight, making it suitable for installation in fresh water or wet environments.
