- Product Details
The H05SS-F is a harmonized, heavy-duty flexible silicone cable engineered for high and low-temperature applications. Its construction features finely stranded tinned copper conductors insulated with cross-linked silicone rubber, protected by a tear-resistant, low-smoke, halogen-free (LSZH) silicone outer jacket. This high temperature cable is specifically designed for the internal wiring of equipment in demanding settings such as steel mills, foundries, glass factories, and within baking equipment, burners, and heating/lighting systems.
- Silicone rubber sheath has the characteristics of heat resistance, chemical resistance, oil resistance, acid resistance, etc., but it is not suitable for outdoor use.
- The special cross-linked silicone (EM 9) outer jacket is significantly more robust than standard silicone, offering superior resistance to notches and tearing.
- Flexibility simplifies installation where space is limited.
- The silicone construction is inherently halogen-free (IEC 60754-1) , flame-retardant(IEC 60332-1) , and produces low smoke(IEC 60754-2) in the event of a fire.
- H05SS-F complies with European standard EN 50525-2-83 (HD 22.15 S1)

FAQ
What is the key difference between H05SS-F and H07RN-F cables?
The key difference is that H05SS-F cables are rated for lower voltage (300/500V) and are typically used for light-duty applications, while H07RN-F cables are rated for higher voltage (450/750V) and more demanding outdoor conditions.
Are H05SS-F cables resistant to oils or chemicals?
H05SS-F cables offer limited resistance to oils and chemicals but should not be exposed to harsh or aggressive substances for extended periods. They are better suited for indoor environments free from chemical exposure.
Can H05SS-F cables be used for appliances or household wiring?
Yes, H05SS-F cables are commonly used for flexible wiring in appliances, household equipment, and light machinery where low voltage (up to 300/500V) and flexibility are required.
