22 AWG Teflon Wire is a high temperature wire designed for harsh environments. Teflon insulated wire is made of high purity oxygen-free copper multi-stranded stranded with a tinned surface, which significantly improves resistance to oxidation and vulcanization. PTFE is formed through an extrusion process to form a uniform insulating layer, with a thickness of 0.2mm ± 0.02mm, for low signal loss. This high-temperature wire type is capable of continuous operation from -60°C to +260°C, with an instantaneous temperature resistance of up to 300°C (e.g., near solder joints). 22 gauge Teflon Wire is suitable for use in corrosive environments and high-frequency circuits, such as those found in aerospace electronics, medical equipment, and industrial sensors.
Product Features
- Chemically inert: PTFE resists strong acids, bases, solvents and grease.
- Temperature Stability: Remains flexible at temperatures as low as -60°C and does not soften or outgas at high temperatures.
- Safety approvals: UL 3271 (high-temperature resistant cables), RoHS/REACH (halogen-free and environmentally friendly), covering global compliance needs.
