- Product Details
The YSLYCY-JZ is a versatile, flexible control cable engineered for precise signal and data transmission in environments requiring high electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). Its double-sheathed construction features a tinned copper screen that provides exceptional interference resistance. The YSLYCY-JZ cable is widely used in automation machinery, control circuits, and robotic systems. It is designed for fixed installations and can tolerate limited flexing without tensile stress, making it suitable for dry, damp, or wet industrial locations. For basic control and power applications in environments without significant EMI issues, the YSLY-JZ unscreened cable should be selected.
- Manufactured in alignment with DIN VDE 0295 / IEC 60228

FAQ
Why choose YSLYCY over standard YSLY cable?
The key difference is the Copper Braid Shield (the "C"). YSLYCY prevents Electromagnetic Interference (EMI), making it essential for VFDs and electrically noisy environments. Standard YSLY is unshielded and can cause signal errors if placed near high-voltage equipment.
What is the difference between YSLYCY and LiYCY?
YSLYCY is a control cable (300/500V) with numbered cores, designed for powering motors and machinery. LiYCY is a data cable (lower voltage) with colored cores (DIN 47100), used for transmitting low-power signals and sensor data.
Can YSLYCY-JZ be used in drag chains?
Generally, no. YSLYCY is designed for flexible installation and medium mechanical stress, but not for continuous, high-speed bending cycles. For drag chains or robotics, you should use a dedicated High-Flex (FD or TRVV) cable to prevent internal conductor fatigue.
