LiYY Cable is a flexible, multi-conductor PVC data cable designed for signal and data transmission in various industrial and electronic applications. It is particularly suited for environments where space is limited due to its small outer diameter. The control cable is ideal for fixed installations as well as for conditional flexible use, making it versatile for a wide range of applications. Compared to LiYY cables, LiYCY cables have an additional braided shield of tinned copper wire for improved electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). LiYCY is suitable for environments with high EMI, such as process control units and computer systems requiring high EMC.
What does LiYY mean?
The designation “LiYY” refers to the construction and material of the cable. “Li” indicates that it is a multi-conductor cable, while “YY” denotes that both the insulation and the outer sheath are made of PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride).
