- Product Details
LiHCH cable is a halogen-free shielded control cable. The LiHCH cable meaning decodes as: Li = Fine-wire conductor, H = Halogen-free insulation, C = Shielded, H = Halogen-free sheath. It is suitable for signal transmission between electronic devices, computer systems, industrial automation or control installations requiring electromagnetic compatibility. LiHCH control cables are characterized by high performance, safety and environmental friendliness. LiHCH TP cables are constructed with a tinned copper braid shield and twisted pairs designed to ensure interference-free signal transmission. Alternatively, LiHH cables are available without shielding.
- LiHCH cables do not release toxic gases in a fire and comply with Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) standards, making them suitable for use in densely populated areas as well as high-value property that must be protected in the event of a fire.
- Twisted conductor pairs reduce internal crosstalk.

FAQ
Is LiHCH cable suitable for outdoor use?
No. The standard halogen-free jacket is not UV-resistant and absorbs moisture more readily than PVC or PE. Exposure to sunlight and rain will cause the sheath to degrade rapidly. For outdoor use, you need a specialized black UV-resistant version or a PE-jacketed cable.
What fire safety standards does LiHCH meet?
It typically meets three key IEC standards: IEC 60332 (Flame Retardant – self-extinguishing), IEC 60754 (Halogen Free – no corrosive acid gas), and IEC 61034 (Low Smoke density – ensures visibility for evacuation).
How does the bending radius of LiHCH compare to LiHH?
LiHCH is stiffer. Due to the copper braid shield, the minimum bending radius for LiHCH is typically 10x to 15x the outer diameter (depending on movement)
