- Product Details
The HSLH cable is a halogen-free flexible control cable designed for use in environments where fire safety and the protection of human life and sensitive equipment are critical priorities. The HSLH Cables are composed of halogen-free materials. This construction ensures that in the event of a fire, the cable does not emit toxic corrosive gases or dense black smoke. It is rated for 300/500 V applications and is extensively used in public buildings, industrial machinery, and instrumentation systems. Recommended for medium mechanical stresses in static or continuous motion applications without tensile stresses. Suitable for dry, wet or humid environment. Not recommended for high mechanical stresses and outdoor use.

FAQ
What is the difference between HSLH and YSLY cable?
The main difference is the material. YSLY is PVC-based, while HSLH is Halogen-Free. Choose HSLH for public buildings (hospitals, airports) and data centers. In a fire, it limits smoke and prevents the release of corrosive toxic gases.
Can HSLH cable be used outdoors?
Generally, no. Standard HSLH is engineered for indoor fixed installations. Its halogen-free jacket is typically not UV or weather-resistant. If used outdoors, it must be installed inside protective conduit to prevent degradation from sunlight and moisture.
Is HSLH cable shielded against interference?
No, standard HSLH is unshielded. For applications requiring Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) protection—such as variable frequency drives (VFDs)—you must specify HSLCH. It features a tinned copper braid shield to ensure signal integrity.
