Teck cables Canada are manufactured in accordance with IPCEA standards and are CSA (Canadian Standards Association) certified to guarantee reliability and safety in harsh conditions in a wide range of industrial environments, including chemical treatment plants and oil refineries.
Main Features
1. Voltage up to 5000V to keep safe for high voltage applications.
2. Copper or aluminum conductors. Sizes range from 14 AWG to 2000 kcmil to meet different current carrying requirements.
3. Operating temperatures typically between -40°C and 90°C. Teck cables are adapted to extreme temperature conditions.
Construction:
- Conductor: annealed stranded bare copper wires, class B.
- Insulation: Cross-linked Polyethylene (XLPE)
- Bonding conductor: annealed bare copper wires, class B.
- Inner Jacket: Flame-retardant and moisture resistant Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC)
- Armour: Aluminum Interlock Armour (AIA)
- Outer-jacket: Low-temperature, moisture and sunlight resistant Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC), black
- Colour Code:
•2 conductor cables are colour coded black and white
•3 conductor cables are colour coded black, red and blue
•4 conductor cables are colour coded black, red, blue and white
